Why We Built This Site
Wisconsin supports public access to many court records, yet the correct office is not always obvious. WCCA provides statewide circuit case summaries. The Oconto County Clerk of Circuit Court keeps the official circuit file, while the municipal courts in Oconto, Oconto Falls, and Gillett handle their own local citations. We bring the verified search links, request methods, court distinctions, and public contact details into one county-focused resource.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Oconto County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We are not connected to the Wisconsin Court System, Oconto County, any municipal court, or any clerk. Those limits are important:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party companies power search boxes on some pages and control their own prices, results, and data practices. We may receive a referral fee when a visitor follows one of those tools to a paid service. That support helps make the reference pages available without charge, but it does not give us control over an outside provider.
